Life Can Be Ruff, So Paws With Us For A While!

We are Pawsitive Therapy Dogs. PTD is an organization founded by Debbie Claseman, who is the director and co-founder of American Service Animal Society. Since the late 1990's, Debbie has been involved with training as well as volunteering her time with therapy dogs. It is only fitting that Debbie created her own therapy dog group as well as a very extensive training program.

Therapy dogs are a great source of comfort to people suffering from a variety of medical issues. Research shows that pets enrich our lives, lower blood pressure and help fight off depression.

Therapy dogs are a great resource for people who are unable to have their own pets. Pawsitive Therapy Dog team members visit not only those with medical issues, but enlighten the lives of those in assisted or senior living facilities.

Although our visits are brief, our dogs' missions are to provide comfort and solace to those that they meet.
